Customer Service
Since our inception, MCC has trained people in the fine art
of excellent customer service. We use a nationally recognized
program called STRIVE, so that students can learn to manage their
responses in stressful situations, communicate clearly and decisively,
and learn to be good listeners. Using video, staff and peer feedback,
students are coached in how to approach even the hardest customer encounters.
Students receive a week-long immersion in customer service training, including
role playing and phone contact. STRIVE also emphasizes how to adjust to
corporate culture so that students know the ropes on how to be successful in
the workplace. Our graduates have gone on to jobs at companies like Cricket, Blue Cross/Blue Shield,
Philly311 call center, Keystone/Mercy, to name a few.
