Direct Care
To prepare students for positions in fields that
require the direct care of patients, such as the frail elderly and other
vulnerable and dependent populations, MCC offers a 180 hour training course.
The focus is on medical terminology, anatomy, body systems and functions, first aid,
CPR, behavioral management and your own personal and professional development.
Typically, our graduates find work in nursing homes, home healthcare, residential
treatment centers and domestic abuse shelters.
Entrance requirement:
- High school diploma or GED
- Pass criminal background and child abuse clearance
- Driver's license
Note: Individually, we will consider applicants without a driver's license. Those who have other strong qualifications and understand the employment limitations may be accepted.
